Rieger Homes is pleased to announce the construction of a new road in Highgrove, located in the Village of Washingtonville, to be named Highgrove Drive.  With the assistance of the unseasonably warm weather this December, we have kept moving forward with this project, from excavation though installation of town water and sewer.   Paving is planned for the spring. Rieger Homes will open 15 new Homesites along this section of Highgrove Drive, in addition to the current Homesites available on Moffat Road.

Did you ever wish that you could move walls and rearrange rooms in your house?  Perhaps you wish your family room was larger or that you could add your formal dining room space to your kitchen to create one large space?  How about moving a wall to rearrange the bathroom layout?  You can, when you build your dream with Rieger Homes!  Take a tour through the photos below and see how our customer made their dream home a reality by doing just that.  Starting with our standard Kent plan, they selected a few of our structural options and added many of their own changes.  On the exterior, a third car garage; the front porch extended to create place to sit to enjoy the view; and beautiful waterline of stone wrapped around the front of the home.  The deck was enlarged to a stunning size, perfect for enjoying the backyard on a quiet afternoon or entertaining a large group of family and friends.

Rather than having a formal dining room and separate eat-in kitchen, the kitchen was moved into the dining room space, opening up the whole rear of the home, side to side.  The continuous oak flooring in the dining area and family room allows the furniture to be rearranged and room sizes changed as needed.

Cabinetry was added to the kitchen, and the island sized to the new room with a granite overhang for seating, and a beverage center for additional drinks and convenience when entertaining.

With the addition of the 3^rd car garage, the cozy sitting room adjacent to the master bedroom was expanded to a large room to be used as a dressing area with walls of closets. The two standard walk-in closets in the master bedroom were combined into one gigantic closet, allowing for his & hers dressing rooms.

The master bath was redesigned to showcase the luxurious ceramic tile master shower and sumptuous soaking tub.    A gorgeous sliding barn-style door the homeowner fell in love with, was incorporated into the design as well.
